The roofers and siders have begun their work.

The roofers showed up early Monday morning and were finished by noon. It was sure nice to see something done quickly.
The siders showed up the next Tuesday and got quite a lot of work done. Unfortunately, about eight sheets of the 4x9 stucco panels were damaged and couldn't be used. It will take an entire week for Menards to get around to bring us new ones.
Nevertheless, the siders finished the bottom half of the garage, installed the service door, insulated and sheet-rocked the north wall, and finished some of the trim. Trim, soffits, fascia, and some siding still remains to be done. Hopefully that won't take them more than one day.
